Recently we invited a host of media personalities, content creators, tastemakers and entrepreneurs to a day of Doubles & Bubbles at Steyn City, Johannesburg. Krone Cap Classique flowed while the crowd battled it out on the courts. It was a day filled with incredible fashion and design, ice cold bubbles, beats and healthy competitive spirit.
Hosted by Doowap in partnership with Krone, Soho House and Steyn City, our guests got to unwind during friendly doubles tennis matches. We caught up with Doowap to ask her about the day.
The BMW experience for Doubles & Bubbles was premium and luxurious. The attention to detail of having water in the car with the programme for the day was a special touch. The opportunity to have BMW on board ensured the guests were made to feel special from the moment they hopped into the car, making the whole day an unforgettable experience.
The event started with welcome drinks at the Steyn City Clubhouse along with light snacks, then our guests were transported via golf carts to the tennis court and hospitality area, where they were teamed up in doubles and the friendly tennis matches commenced. Throughout the day catering was provided by the wonderful Vicky Crease and her team, with cocktails and Cap Classique by Krone. We wrapped the whole event with a prize and trophy ceremony to celebrate our esteemed guests.
Highlights of the day were the delicious cocktails, the star-studded line up, breathtaking views of Steyn City and of course the calibre of creatives and individuals we had attending the event.
We had the award-winning fine artist Lady Skollie, sensational singer Msaki, the beautiful Sarah Langa, to name just a few…
The line -up was crucial as it set the ambience for the day. We had Rarri, Kat Upendi and Lelowhatsgood as our DJs for the day who absolutely killed it.
