KRONE x WITW GALLERY

The KRONE x WHATIFTHEWORLD is a collaborative space offering an immersive experience showcasing African contemporary art in the heart of Tulbagh. Now home to an Artist Residency Programme too.

A place of total freedom for artists to explore their ideas.

The KRONE x WHATIFTHEWORLD gallery offers an immersive experience celebrating African contemporary art, set in the bucolic winelands' town of Tulbagh. With over 300 years of history, Twee Jonge Gezellen is at the apex of heritage and innovation; the interior design is inspired by its rich heritage, housed in the original architecture. The white, weathered Cape Dutch buildings are surrounded by vineyards, which fan up the Saronsberg Mountains; a big open-skied landscape for your eyes to devour.

The artist residency programme, hosted in the heart of this working wine farm, offers both a space for quiet moments of contemplation as well as moments of wild intensity—a time to push boundaries while taking in new horizons.
