CHEFS IN RESIDENCE #1:

GET YOUR LEMONS OUT

Hosted by Krone

with Margot Henderson OBE, Rose Chalalai Singh, Fergus Henderson OBE and Hector Henderson

“Lunch includes a selection of wines from Krone, Reyneke, Twee Jonge Gezellen and Porseleinberg.”

Join us in welcoming global culinary icons Margot Henderson OBE (Rochelle Canteen, London) and Rose Chalalai Singh (Rose Kitchen, Paris) together with Fergus Henderson OBE (St John, London) and Hector Henderson (Rochelle Canteen) for the inaugural Chefs In Residence at Krone Farm.

Having spent time recently at Twee Jonge Gezellen, they will spend a few more days with guests, featuring two unique lunches over two days - Monday 24 February and Tuesday 25 February. Their menu will comprise their celebrated classics with a twist that honours the locally sourced produce they select from neighbouring farmers and Twee Jonge Gezellen, as well as Nguni cattle and biodynamically grown vegetables from Reyneke.

A family affair, which promises to attract local residents and international visitors, chefs Henderson and Chalalai Singh who have enjoyed cooking together numerous times and work with the most renowned galleries, artists and brands that include Gagosian, Thaddaeus Ropac and Miuccia Prada, will be joined by Margot’s husband Fergus and son, Hector.

Lunch includes a selection of wines from Krone, Reyneke, Twee Jonge Gezellen and Porseleinberg.

Along with their famed eateries, each one inspired by their well-known philosophy of cooking good food, the Hendersons are known for privileging indigenous ingredients and elevating simple dishes. Chalalai Singh is famed for playful experiences and sense of flavour.

Working beyond the constraints and comforts of a traditional restaurant and their own spaces, the Hendersons and Chalalai Singh will engage with local chefs Table 7 to add their support.

Lunch includes a selection of wines from Krone, Reyneke, Twee Jonge Gezellen and Porseleinberg.

Tickets are limited to four for each guest and only 60 seats are available each day.

You may also add a car transfer from Cape Town to Tulbagh to your lunch reservation.

We look forward to sharing this experience with you.
